The Role

Due to increasing demand, we are seeking a Casual Community Registered Nurse to join our growing team in Sydney.

In this role, you will deliver high-quality clinical nursing care to clients in their homes. You will assess and monitor clients’ health needs, manage complex clinical conditions and provide holistic, person-centred care.

The successful applicant must be available for a minimum of two days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.

• Deliver safe, evidence-based clinical nursing care in clients’ homes.

• Provide medication management, complex wound care, continence and catheter support, bowel care and stoma care.

• Develop, implement and review individualised nursing care plans.

• Monitor clients’ health conditions and respond appropriately to clinical changes.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with clients, families, support workers, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.

• Provide clinical education, training and competency assessments where required.

• Work autonomously while maintaining communication with the wider clinical team.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.

• Minimum of one year of post-registration nursing experience.

• Community nursing experience is highly desirable.

• Experience in disability, aged care, complex care or home-based nursing is desirable.

• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• A genuine commitment to delivering respectful, person-centred care.

• Availability for a minimum of two days per week.

Mandatory Requirements

Applicants must hold:

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

• Current National Police Check issued within the past six months.

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.

• Current NSW Working with Children Check.

• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.

• Current Manual Handling certificate.

• Current unrestricted NSW driver licence.

• Access to a reliable and insured vehicle.
