About the Role

Securecorp is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at a high-profile retail site in North Lakes. This position is responsible for leading security operations on site, supporting the security team, managing incidents, and maintaining a safe, secure and professional environment for customers, staff and retailers.

This is a Level 3 Security position, attracting Security Services Industry Award rates, superannuation and a Supervisor Allowance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise day-to-day security operations on siteProvide professional security services and customer serviceConduct patrols, monitoring and surveillance activitiesManage access control, crowd management and site security proceduresRespond to alarms, incidents and emergency situationsIdentify, assess and manage security, safety and loss prevention risksProvide direction and support to security officers on shiftEnsure site procedures, client requirements and security standards are maintainedComplete accurate incident reports, shift reports and daily logsLiaise professionally with the client, retailers, emergency services and site stakeholders

Skills & Experience

Current QLD Security Licence with relevant security functionsPrevious experience in a Security Supervisor or senior security rolePrevious retail security experience highly desirableCurrent First Aid & CPR certificationStrong leadership, communication and decision-making skillsAbility to confidently manage incidents and provide direction to a security teamStrong customer service and conflict resolution skillsProfessional presentation and a proactive security mindsetAbility to work the required rotating fortnightly roster, including evenings and weekends
