Jacqui Scruby is the elected independent Member for Pittwater. She is seeking an experienced senior electorate officer to oversee her office. The Pittwater Electorate Office is the point of contact for constituents and local community groups to engage with the Member for Pittwater regarding state government services and responsibilities.
The office is open 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday
About the position
The Senior Electorate Officer is responsible for managing the office, including establishing systems and processes and providing high level support to the Member for Pittwater as well as managing two Electoral Officers and contractors (as required).
This role is all encompassing, and you will have responsibility for ensuring all constituent matters are resolved, organising events, overseeing media, advertising and communications (including social media), proactively engaging community groups and advising of grants, managing accounts and the Member’s diary. Strategically, you will ensure that issues raised by constituents are communicated to the Member and that the Member’s advocacy in parliament is communicated to the community.
The applicant must be able to thrive in a high intensity environment, manage a hectic schedule, prioritise handle multiple tasks and rarely drop the ball. Most importantly you must be effective at administration and organisation.

The role requires up to 5 additional hours per week, including weekend work for which an annual All Incidence of Employment Allowance is paid.
