New Look Dental is a growing dental practice in Bateau Bay, and we’re looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team on a casual or part-time basis.

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, caring, professional and enjoys working as part of a team. Previous dental assisting experience is preferred, but we are also happy to consider the right person who demonstrates the right attitude and willingness to learn.

The opportunity

Working alongside our dentists and clinical team, you will be an important part of delivering a smooth and positive experience for every patient.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Chairside assisting across general and cosmetic dental procedures

• Preparing and setting up surgeries

• Instrument and material preparation

• Sterilization and infection control

• Maintaining clean and organized treatment rooms

• Supporting patients throughout their appointments

• Assisting dentists and the clinical team during procedures

• Maintaining a professional and welcoming environment

What we’re looking for

The right person will:

• Have previous Dental Assisting experience – preferred

• Have a genuine interest in dentistry and patient care

• Be reliable, punctual and professional

• A positive team player

• Be organized, proactive and able to stay calm in a busy environment

• Take pride in maintaining high standards of infection control

• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
