Overview

We're looking for a mid weight Strategist to join our award-winning teams in both Sydney and Melbourne.

As a Saatchi & Saatchi Strategist, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the thinking behind campaigns, brands and experiences that drive real business outcomes for our clients. Working alongside talented creatives, account leaders and senior strategists, you'll uncover meaningful insights, identify opportunities and develop compelling strategic narratives that inspire exceptional creative work.

Responsibilities

What you'll be doing day to day

• Developing strategic responses to client briefs and business challenges
• Conducting research and analysing data to uncover insights and opportunities
• Identifying cultural trends, changing consumer behaviours and emerging market dynamics
• Crafting inspiring strategic narratives and creative briefs
• Presenting insights and recommendations to clients and internal teams
• Partnering with account management and creative teams to bring ideas to life
• Providing strategic input throughout the creative development process
• Measuring campaign effectiveness and helping optimise performance
• Supporting award submissions and strategic case studies
• Managing multiple projects and delivering high-quality work against deadlines
• Continuously building your skills, tools and strategic thinking capability

Qualifications

We're interested in people with diverse experiences and perspectives. You might be a strategist, planner, researcher, marketer or someone who has built strong insight and problem-solving skills in a related field.

You'll Likely Bring

• Approximately 3-4 years' experience in strategy, marketing or a related discipline
• Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience translating data and findings into actionable insights
• Excellent storytelling, presentation and communication skills
• A collaborative approach and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
• Curiosity about people, brands, culture and consumer behaviour
• The ability to balance analytical thinking with creative intuition
• A proactive mindset and willingness to contribute beyond your immediate remit
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for a fast-paced creative environment
