We are seeking a technically skilled Technical Training Developer to join our Aftersales Training team. This role is responsible for the development of high quality Instructor Led Training programs, technical learning resources and eLearning content for the IAL dealer network and fleet partners.
About the RoleReporting to the National Training Manager, the Technical Training Developer will work collaboratively across the business to design, develop and maintain technical training materials that support dealership technicians, fleet personnel and internal stakeholders.The role will also provide backup support for technical training delivery where required.
Key Responsibilities
Training Development & Content CreationDevelop and desktop publish Instructor Led Training (ILT) programsCreate technical training aids and supporting learning resourcesDevelop technical articles for the Isuzu Truck Technicians GuildCollaborate with the eLearning Content Developer to produce engaging eLearning modulesEnsure training content aligns with business objectives and evolving technical requirementsStakeholder Support & CollaborationLiaise with internal departments including Service, Sales, Marketing, Care and PartsProvide technical advice and support across the businessRecommend future training initiatives and continuous improvement opportunitiesTraining DeliveryConduct Train the Trainer (TTT) programs for IAL personnelDeliver technical training to dealer and fleet partners when requiredCustomer Focus & Continuous ImprovementPromote high levels of customer satisfaction and service excellenceContribute to process improvement and training effectiveness initiativesSupport quality, compliance, safety and sustainability objectives
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have the following skills and experience:Trade qualification in Automotive, Auto Electrical or similarStrong automotive technical knowledge, including electrical/electronic systems and dealership workshop practicesExperience developing technical training materials or learning contentWritten communication and desktop publishing skillsExperience in automotive technical training development and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment would be an advantage.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong automotive technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for developing engaging technical learning experiences.
This role is based in Truganina, Melbourne.
