About the role
Handi-Hire | Coffs Harbour & Mid North Coast
We are looking for a reliable, practical and hard-working Events Labourer / All-Rounder to join our team.
This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety. One day you might be cleaning and preparing event equipment, the next you could be loading trucks, delivering equipment or helping build a marquee.
Your day-to-day work will include:
Cleaning and preparing event hire equipment
Loading and packing trucks for upcoming jobs
Unloading and returning equipment after events
Delivering and collecting equipment
Helping build and pack down marquees
General yard, warehouse and equipment maintenance
Keeping equipment, trucks and work areas clean and organised
You will be working both independently and as part of a small team, so being able to take direction, work efficiently and get stuck into a job is important.
We are looking for someone who:
Is reliable and turns up ready to work
Is physically fit and comfortable with manual work
Doesn't mind working outdoors and getting their hands dirty
Has a practical, hands-on approach
Can follow instructions and work safely
Takes pride in doing a job properly
Is willing to learn new skills
Can work independently once shown what needs to be done
Has a current Australian driver's licence (car licence)
Previous experience in events, equipment hire, warehousing, construction, landscaping, removals or a similar hands-on role is an advantage, but we are willing to train the right person
30–38 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Occasional weekend work when required for events
Variety — no two days are exactly the same
On-the-job training
The opportunity to learn marquee construction, event setup and equipment operations
A small, hands-on team environment
This is a physical role and involves regular lifting, loading, unloading and working outdoors.
If you're someone who likes practical work, enjoys variety and isn't afraid to get stuck in, we'd like to hear from you.
