Automotive receptionist/Customer service receptionist

About the role

As our Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for customers and will play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the business. You will be the first point of contact for customers and will help keep the front office running smoothly at Fyshvick Body Works, a panel beating, smash repair and automotive business.

Key responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and providing professional customer service
• Answering phone calls and responding to customer enquiries
• Booking vehicles in for repairs, servicing and inspections
• Preparing and updating job cards and customer information
• Liaising with customers regarding vehicle repairs and collection
• Coordinating with panel beaters, spray painters and automotive technicians
• Handling emails, bookings and general administration
• Assisting with insurance/smash repair paperwork where required
• Maintaining an organised and professional reception area
• Following up customers and providing updates on repair progress

About you

• Friendly, confident and professional
• Excellent with customers and telephone communication
• Well organised and able to multitask
• Reliable, punctual and well presented
• Comfortable working in a busy automotive environment
• Computer literate with good administration skills
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Previous automotive, panel shop, smash repair or insurance experience is highly desirable, but not essential for the right candidate
