The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, PMR is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics to join our team on a permanent or casual basis.

You’ll be involved in preventative and breakdown maintenance across a variety of mining equipment, working either locally in Perth or on FIFO rosters to the Pilbara.

Rosters & Locations

We offer genuine flexibility to suit your lifestyle:

• FIFO rosters available: 2/1, 8/6, 7/7

• Perth local work: 5/2 roster – home every night

• Optional weekend work

• Long-term rosters available – tell us what you’re chasing

About You

You’ll be a motivated, safety-focused tradesperson with:

• Australian-recognised Trade Certificate

• Mining experience (preferred)

• Current Driver’s Licence

• White Card

• High Risk Licence

• Full Australian working rights

• Ability to pass a full medical (including D&A)

• Strong work ethic, self-motivated and results driven

• A genuine commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair heavy machinery including CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi & Bell

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues

• Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance

• Work independently and manage assigned scopes of work

Demonstrate leadership and accountability on site
