Sea Logistics Sales Representative

As a Sea Logistics Sales Representative, you’ll be the one turning that promise into reality by winning new customers and developing business opportunities in both FCL (Full Container Loads) and LCL (Less than Container Loads).

This role is about more than closing deals. It’s about building trust, nurturing long‑term relationships, and ensuring every customer experiences the reliability and care that define Kuehne+Nagel. You’ll collaborate closely with our Sea Logistics and Customer Care teams, aligning strategies to deliver extraordinary customer focus and contribute to our Roadmap 2026 and Vision 2030.

Responsibilities

Own the sales journey: Identify, qualify, and nurture prospects through the pipeline to close profitable, sustainable deals.Collaborate for success: Align sales efforts with Customer Care Managers, Pricing, and Sea Logistics Business Development teams.Monitor the market: Gather insights on competitor pricing and products to stay ahead.Shape the customer experience: Support onboarding, maintain accurate customer data, and provide timely reporting.Strengthen relationships: Drive engagement, satisfaction, retention, and reactivation through service excellence.Feedback loop: Report customer insights to the Customer Care team and support resolutions.Deliver results: Meet financial targets and strategic objectives while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Prior experience in logistics or supply chain operations, ideally in international freight forwarding.Strong decision‑making and analytical problem‑solving skills.Basic understanding of financial principles and commercial decision‑making.Strong collaboration skills and team‑oriented mindset.Expertise in customer management across the lifecycle.Clear communication skills and customer‑solutions orientation.Openness to change and continuous improvement.Proactive, solutions‑focused approach with emphasis on optimising customer experience.
