About the opportunity
NSW Health Pathology Grafton Laboratory is seeking applications for Pathology Specimen Collectors to join our patient focused team to assist with the delivery of high quality pathology to the communities located in and around the Clarence Valley.
The Grafton team is an integral component in delivering high quality care to the patients in the Grafton Base Hospital and Maclean Hospital. You will be working closely with the care team within these hospitals to assist in the delivery of timely and high quality pathology testing within the NSW Health Pathology statewide network.
What you'll be doing
Contribute to a customer-focused pathology collection service across inpatient, outpatient and home care settings. Provide a high-quality healthcare service to all referrers and consumers. Perform venepuncture and other duties pertaining to specimen collection, data entry, processing, and delivery into sites for pathology investigations as required.
