About The Infants' Home
The Infants' Home has supported children and families since 1874. Based in Ashfield, we are a not-for-profit, integrated child and family service. Our services bring together early childhood education and care, family day care, early intervention, clinical services, family support and community programs. Today we run three integrated childcare centres onsite in Ashfield, and our Family Day Care serves the greater Sydney region.
Since 1874 we have championed the rights of children, women and families and protected those at risk. We guide families to build their strength, skills and confidence for a more positive future. Around 30% of our onsite services target children and families living with vulnerability or additional needs. We are also a member of the Early Childhood Intervention Best Practice Network.
The Infants' Home is a Child Safe organisation. Every child has the right to be safe, feel safe and be heard. We have zero tolerance for child abuse and protect children from harm in every part of our work.

About the role
We are seeking a Marketing & Content Specialist to build our profile and tell our story across digital channels. You will join our Marketing and Communications Team and report to the Digital and Engagement Manager. You will manage our content end to end. You will plan, create, publish and optimise content across our social media, website and email channels. You will support integrated campaigns that promote enrolment, programs, fundraising and events. You will capture real stories from across our services, including photography and video at events, and keep our digital asset library organised. You will focus on content that connects us with families, donors, volunteers and the wider community.
You will also keep our brand consistent and our channels working hard. You will manage email marketing and e-newsletters, from audience segmentation through to performance reporting. You will keep website content accurate, current and on brand, and apply foundational search engine optimisation (SEO). You will track performance across platforms and use the insights to improve results. You will help deliver events, community engagement and public relations activities, and support our corporate volunteer engagement. You will represent The Infants' Home to internal teams, external partners and agencies. The role is based in Ashfield. Expect a mix of hands-on content creation, campaign support and time out capturing the work as it happens.
About you
You are a creative marketer who likes turning real stories into content that moves people. You bring strong writing, a good eye, and the organisation to keep many things moving at once. You know your audience, you know your channels, and you know how to make purpose led work land. You work well on your own and as part of a team. You will bring:
demonstrated experience in marketing, content creation and social media management

the ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple projects and deadlines, with sound organisation and attention to detail
the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, both independently and as part of a team
confidence using digital marketing, social media, content and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) tools
confidence using Microsoft Office
Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite would be well regarded but is not essential
