Saltbush Transport (SBTP) is a Perth based flexible road-transport service operating Australia-wide. We take pride in providing a full range of Heavy Haulage and General Freight transport services. We use our own equipment, our own people and our own dedicated service and safety team. Working this way gives us the technical knowledge and support to ensure that projects run to schedule, in compliance with regulators and to meet all customer requirements. SBTP handles heavy machinery transport, general freight services and logistics for clients and contractors in the mining, oil and gas, construction and agricultural sectors.

We are currently seeking experienced MC Freight Drivers to join our growing fleet, working a 12 days on / 2 days off or 12 days on / 4 day off roster.

DUTIES INCLUDED

Participate and commit to SB Transport safety standards and COR requirements at all timesSafely operating triple & oversize road trains to deliver general mining freight of all types including machinery to customersLoad restraint to safely secure freight to trailersFatigue management in line with WA fatigue guidelines

Essential Criteria

Current unrestricted MC LicenceExperience with load restraint of challenging freightA good understanding of Chain of ResponsibilityFamiliarity with WA region and experience moving general mining freightFloat experience advantageousGreat attitude and client focused

All candidates must supply a recent National Police Clearance (less than 6-months old) and have the ability to pass a CDM & a pre-employment medical inclusive of a drug/alcohol screen.
