About the role
We are an Australian and New Zealand online furniture brand, driven by a passion for innovative, design‑led, quality furniture for contemporary living. As part of the Adairs Group, our fast‑growing business operates from our Australian office and distribution centre in Pinkenba, Brisbane.
We are currently seeking reliable, motivated, and hardworking Warehouse Pickers & Packers to join our small, dynamic warehouse team.
The RoleThis is a hands‑on warehouse role involving picking, packing, receiving, and dispatching customer orders while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse environment. You will play an important part in ensuring stock accuracy and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key DutiesPick, pack, label, and process orders for dispatch
Receipt and check inbound and outbound goods
Load and unload goods using safe manual handling practices
Store stock correctly to maintain accuracy and prevent damage
Assist with stock integrity, stocktakes, and inventory checks
Report damaged, missing, or incorrect stock
General warehouse and housekeeping duties as required
Adhere to WHS procedures and company policies
Work collaboratively to meet daily operational targets
Essential
Reliable, punctual, honest, and physically fit (able to handle cartons up to 25kg)
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
Ability to follow instructions and safe work procedures
Basic verbal and written communication skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
Previous experience in a warehouse, storage, or logistics environment
Familiarity with picking, packing, inventory systems, scanners, or computers
Understanding of workplace health and safety practices
Casual roles with potential to transition into permanent employment
Employment under the Storage Services and Wholesale Award
Training provided
Supportive, team‑focused work environment
Safe and well‑managed warehouse operations
Immediate start preferred
Own transport is essential, as public transport is not available to the Pinkenba distribution centre
