Senior Project Engineer - Feasibility

Rate: Competitive (dependent on experience)

Duration:  Initial 6-months contract with possible extension

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer – Feasibility Design to lead and coordinate major feasibility and FEED studies across large-scale infrastructure and engineering projects. Acting as the client-side Study Manager, you will oversee consultant-led design activities and ensure the successful delivery of integrated, decision-ready reference designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage feasibility design scopes, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and consultant performance
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design reviews and stakeholder inputs
• Ensure engineering, vendor, client, and contractor requirements are incorporated into project designs
• Monitor design maturity and manage acceptance of key deliverables
• Facilitate close-out of review comments and technical queries
• Coordinate with project, engineering, interface, and delivery teams to achieve project objectives
• Support governance, reporting, and decision-making processes throughout study phases

Mandatory Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Engineer, Study Manager, or similar role
• Strong experience managing multidisciplinary feasibility or FEED studies
• Experience overseeing consultant-led engineering and design activities
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables
• Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and deliver outcomes in complex project environments

Preferred

• Experience with large-scale infrastructure, mining, energy, or industrial projects
• Strong understanding of engineering design governance and assurance processes
• Experience managing contractor and consultant relationships
• Exposure to FEED, feasibility, and early project development phases
