About the role
Influencer Marketing ManagerCompany: PrizecartLocation: Melbourne - Hybrid
About PrizecartPrizecart is an new Australian shopping platform that gives people free chances to win instant prizes simply by shopping at the stores they already shop at. We partner with more than 250 brands, from household names to fast-growing online retailers. We're a small, fast-moving team. There are no layers here — you'd be working directly with the founders, and your work would be visible from day one.
The roleWe're launching a new influencer-led growth initiative, and we're looking for an experienced influencer marketing manager to take ownership of it.
The role sits across both sides of the market. You'll be identifying and signing Australian creators, negotiating their rates and locking in campaigns — and separately, working with brand partners to bring them into those campaigns. Both halves need someone who can open a conversation cold and turn it into a signed deal.
This is a hands-on, outreach-driven position. It suits someone who enjoys the chase, is confident on the phone, and is comfortable being the person driving something new rather than inheriting a process that already runs.
What you'll be doingResearching and building target lists of Australian creators, then approaching them and their management directlyNegotiating creator rates and commercial terms, and holding your ground in those conversationsPitching brand partners — both our existing partner network and new brands you source yourselfRunning campaigns end to end: briefing, coordinating deliverables, keeping everyone to timelines, and reporting on resultsBuilding and maintaining relationships on both sides so the second campaign is easier to fill than the first
What we're looking forDemonstrable experience in influencer marketing, talent, brand partnerships or a closely related commercial roleA track record of building genuine relationships with both creators and brandsReal comfort with cold outreach across email, LinkedIn and Instagram DMs — and the ability to build rapport quicklyStrong negotiation skills; you'll regularly be across the table from talent managersA good working knowledge of the Australian creator landscape — who has genuine influence, and who's on the way upIdeally, an existing network you can build fromConfident on the phone and happy to jump on calls at various points in the day
