Branch Supervisor / Salesperson

Established in 1970, Kentan Machinery is a successful and growing family owned agricultural and construction machinery business. Kentan Machinery has dealerships at Hexham, Taree, Central Coast, Muswellbrook & Tamworth. We are one of Australia's largest authorised sales and service dealers for Kubota tractors & excavators as well as retailing agricultural and construction implements from a number of respected leading global brands.

Kentan Machinery are looking for a Branch Supervisor / Salesperson for their Taree dealership. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday with rostered monthly Saturday mornings and reports to the General Manager.

Someone with mechanical aptitude will be highly regarded as well as sales with B2B or similar. Also knowledge of the area and relationships within the Agricultural / Construction sector will also be seen as an advantage in this role.

We are seeking someone with a can do attitude and fantastic customer service skills. You should be able to work well in a high paced environment and be a team player. The right applicant will be a team leader and can demonstrate good communication skills and be self motivated to help grow the branch customer base.

This is a full time role with an attractive salary for the right applicant.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively engage, qualify and follow through on all new leads and/or referrals resulting from direct enquiries and prospecting activity;

• Prepare quotations and sales contracts in a timely, detailed and accurate manner

• Establish and maintain existing customer and potential customer relationships, reporting on this through an accurately updated CRM;

• Liaise with the sales co-ordinator for delivery of sold items and financing of new and used machinery.

• Manage the Parts and Service personnel with the assistance of the Group Managers.
