Warehouse Storeperson / Picker — Forklift Licenced

About the role

Flox Wines & Spirits is seeking a Warehouse Storeperson / Picker — Forklift Licenced to join our dynamic warehouse team on a full-time basis in Thomastown VIC 3074. This is a crucial role that ensures the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities, maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting timely order fulfilment. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for receiving, organising, picking and packing products to the highest standards whilst maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment. Your contribution will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving and unloading incoming stock, verifying items against delivery documentation and updating inventory systems

• Organising and storing products in designated warehouse locations using warehouse management systems

• Picking items (bottles & cartons) accurately and efficiently from warehouse locations based on customer orders

• Packing orders securely and labelling packages with shipping information

• Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations

• Conducting stock counts and reconciling inventory discrepancies

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the warehouse

• Following all safety protocols and contributing to a safe workplace culture

• Supporting team members and assisting with additional warehouse tasks as required

What we're looking for

• Valid forklift licence (LF High Risk Work Licence)

• Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment

• Physical fitness and ability to lift, carry and stand for extended periods

• Proven ability to pick and pack items accurately with attention to detail

• Competency in using warehouse management systems and basic computer skills

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Commitment to health and safety practices and procedures

• Reliability and punctuality

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
