Payroll Position

We are looking to fill a payroll position within our business. Full training will be provided, so you don’t need to be a payroll whiz but some payroll background will be looked upon favorably.

The position will initially be offered on a Monday to Thursday basis, comprising approximately 24 to 28 hours per week for training purposes. Following the training period, there will be flexibility to adjust working days and hours to meet both the individual's needs and the operational requirements of the business.

Duties will include 

• entering shift reports into our in-house system 

• checking roster for correct hours and shifts

 • sending enquiries to site managers if clarification needed

 • making any manual adjustments that may be required

 • exporting payroll to MYOB for processing

 • processing pays in MYOB (checking totals match in house system)

 • creating bank file & uploaded to bank for approval

 • Entering Leave requests and reporting to sites for leave approval 

As the role expands you will be responsible for

 • payroll tax for NSW & QLD

 • superannuation

 • child support

 • union fees

 • Coal LSL

 • Workers Compensation
