About Us:
Latrobe Valley Village is an independent, not-for-profit organisation providing residential aged care and retirement living services. Employing approximately 190 staff across our 24-hour, 7-day residential aged care service and adjacent retirement village, we are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care in a welcoming and supportive environment.

The Role:
Reporting to the Director Business Operations and supported by a Human Resources Administrator, this key leadership role is responsible for leading workforce planning, human resource management and people systems across the organisation.
Working closely with executive and operational leaders, you will help build and maintain a capable, engaged and compliant workforce that supports the delivery of quality aged care services.
Key responsibilities include:
Workforce planning, recruitment and retention initiatives
Employee relations, investigations and performance management
HR policy development and implementation
Learning and development programs and mandatory training compliance
Workforce compliance, reporting and record management
Oversight of workforce rostering and staffing practices
About You
You will bring:
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Business, Industrial Relations or a related discipline
Demonstrated experience in a senior HR, Workforce or People & Culture role
Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations frameworks
Experience in workforce planning, recruitment and employee retention
Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities
Well-developed computer skills and experience with HR and workforce management systems
Desirable
Experience in aged care, healthcare or community services
Knowledge of the Aged Care Act 2024 and Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
Experience with AIM, Emprevo or similar workforce management systems
Experience managing employer-sponsored visa arrangements
