Mechanical Assembler - Agricultural Spraying Equipment

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join BA Pumps & Sprayers as an Assembler. As a member of the production team, you will be joining a dedicated team of assemblers and ensuring the efficient and high-quality assembly of products at our North Geelong, Victoria facility. What you'll be doing

• Assemble a variety of Agricultural spraying equipment ranging from basic linkage sprayers, larger broadacre linkage sprayers to large custom truck sprayers

• Fitting of Agricultural GPS guidance systems and Automatic rate controllers

• Sub-Assembly of basic components for spray units

• Test, diagnose and repair assembly faults

• Keep a safe and organised work environment and adhere to all health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

• Several years of experience in a similar assembly or manufacturing role

• Experience using both hand and power tools

• Strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.

• Experience working with hydraulics and 12 volt wiring systems

• Excellent communication and the ability to work as part of a team

• Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve production issues

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality control, and workplace health and safety practices

• Commitment to continuous improvement and a collaborative mindset

• A mechanical trade background with exposure to Agriculture is highly desirable
