$88,265 Pro Rata + 12% Super + bonus (performance).
About the Role
Working in the General Services Office section of the Consulate, the Realty Assistant is responsible for Housing, Housing Procurement and Asset Management. The incumbent is required to manage projects and deadlines independently and to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Incumbent serves as an alternate Class B Cashier
Duties
· Responsible for Housing, Housing Procurement and Asset Management.
· The incumbent is required to manage projects and deadlines independently and to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
· Incumbent serves as an alternate Class B.
Skills and Experience
· Three (3) years of full-time experience in general services or facilities maintenance including experience in procurement, customer service, contracting, leasing, inventory, and/or facilities management is required. Experience in project management and the management of local service contractors is required.
· Must have a valid, current driver's license for the class of vehicle(s) assigned or authorized to drive and have held a driver's license for a minimum of five (5) years.
· Two (2) years of full-time post secondary study (or equivalent hours spread across a part-time study period) at college or university is required.
· Fluent English; written/spoken, including the ability to translate is required.
Knowledge
· An in-depth knowledge of local country market service providers, supply/demand environment, contracting regulations, shipping and customs laws is required.
