About the role

Perth Day Hospital is seeking Anaesthetic Technicians and Anaesthetic Nurses to join our brand-new, state-of-the-art Day Hospital in Osborne Park. You will be part of a dynamic team in a modern, purpose-built facility where excellence meets innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist anaesthetists and other clinical staff in the preparation, administration and monitoring of anaesthesia

• Ensure the anaesthetic equipment and environment are maintained in a safe and compliant manner

• Provide high-quality patient care and support before, during and after surgical procedures

• Document all relevant information and maintain accurate patient records

• Participate in staff training and professional development activities

• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures and quality standards

About you

• Certificate IV in Anaesthetic Technology or equivalent qualification

• Minimum 2 years' experience as an Anaesthetic Technician/Anaesthetic Nurse in a hospital or day surgery setting

• Excellent clinical skills and a strong understanding of anaesthetic procedures and equipment

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate well within a multidisciplinary team

• A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care

• Valid Australian work rights
