Food Production staff

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Food Production Staff to join the team at Inner Health Foods Pty Ltd in Glendenning, NSW. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst contributing to the production of quality food products. You will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, playing a vital role in our assembly and process operations. Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor food production machinery and equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards

• Perform assembly and packaging tasks with accuracy and efficiency to meet production targets

• Follow standardised recipes, formulations and production procedures to ensure consistent product quality

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the production area, including equipment sanitisation

• Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality specifications before packaging

• Assist with labelling, packaging and preparing products for dispatch

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production updates and issues

• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to management

• Comply with all food safety regulations, workplace health and safety requirements, and company policies

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in food production, manufacturing or assembly work (preferred but not essential)

• A strong commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment and meet productivity targets

• Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods

• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately

• A cooperative and collaborative attitude, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to accommodate varying shift patterns

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills

• Current food handling certificate or willingness to obtain one (preferred)

• Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
