Join Astris PME and put your mechanical skills to use creating mobility and assistive technology that genuinely improves people’s independence and quality of life.
At Astris PME, we provide specialised mobility and assistive equipment that helps people live more independently. Our workshop team plays a key role in assembling, repairing, and customising equipment that makes a real difference every day.
This is a varied, hands-on workshop role where no two days are the same. You’ll assemble new equipment, diagnose and repair faults, and customise solutions to meet client needs.
If you enjoy practical work, problem-solving, and building things, this role is for you.
Assemble, repair, and customise mobility and assistive equipment
Prepare equipment for client trials and demonstrations
Diagnose faults and complete repairs to a high standard
Modify and adjust equipment to suit individual client needs
Clean, sanitise, charge, and maintain returned equipment
Keep the workshop organised, safe, and well-presented
Work closely with sales and operations teams
This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical or hands-on technical background who enjoys working with their hands. You’ll bring:
Experience in assembly, mechanical repairs, or workshop environments (e.g. automotive, bikes, equipment, or similar)
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Pride in producing high-quality, reliable work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills
Current driver’s licence
Hands-on, varied work
