About the Role

The Partnerships and Events Officer plays a key role in the delivery of the College’s strategic marketing and engagement activities through the delivery of high quality stakeholder engagement and events. The position is responsible for developing and maintaining productive stakeholder relationships, coordinating partnership activities, and ensuring that sponsorship commitments are fulfilled. The role also coordinates the planning and delivery of College events, managing event logistics and operational requirements to ensure successful outcomes.

This is a full-time, ongoing position and an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

• Act as the operational contact for College sponsors, partners and stakeholders, fostering strong and mutually beneficial relationships.
• Coordinate the delivery of sponsorship and partnership agreements, ensuring all contractual obligations, acknowledgements and sponsorship benefits are fulfilled.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of partnership and sponsorship strategies that enhance stakeholder connection with the College.
• Provide on-site event management and operational support, including troubleshooting during events and occasional work outside standard business hours.
• Coordinate event logistics including registrations, venue preparation and setup, suppliers, catering, presentation requirements and event administration.
• Develop event plans, run sheets, timelines, budgets, risk assessments and operational documentation to support successful event delivery.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Events Management, Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Strong event management skills, including planning, logistics, problem-solving and delivery.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality outcomes.
