About the role

At Sitzler Pty Ltd, we are seeking a dedicated Project Administrator / Document Control professional to join our team in the project-based location of Western Australia.
This is a permanent, full-time position within the Risk and Commercial department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project operations by ensuring efficient document control and administration processes.
The primary responsibilities of this role include: -
Managing and maintaining project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence, in accordance with established procedures.
Coordinating the review, approval, distribution, and storage of documents to ensure accurate and timely access for project teams.
Implementing and maintaining document control systems to track the status of documents throughout their lifecycle.
Liaising with internal stakeholders to understand document requirements and providing support in generating or obtaining necessary documentation.
Assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other project-related documentation as required.
Supporting compliance with relevant regulations and standards by ensuring that all documentation meets specified quality criteria.
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a dynamic project environment. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating with various stakeholders and contributing to the smooth flow of information across the project team. Qualifications
Minimum level of knowledge/skills/training required to carry out the job:
• Recognised relevant qualification or minimum of 2 years in financial and project administration with middle level experience
Or other relevant qualification
Or other relevant industry experience
• Some understanding of construction materials and methods
• Some knowledge of contract administration principles, some understanding of tendering principles
• Ability to monitor and maintain the document management and filing system of the project
• Excellent time management, organisational and planning skills
• Good verbal communication, ability to write clearly and concisely
• High level of attention to detail
• High level of Microsoft Office computer literacy
• Nationally Recognised Construction Induction
• Drivers Licence
Work Experience
Considered necessary to do the job effectively:
• Minimum of 2 years in financial and project administration with middle level experience
• Some exposure to contract administration
