Project Exploration Geologist

LinQ Minerals Limited has need for a site-based Project Geologist to join our discovery team. The role will be rostered to West Wyalong, NSW. The Project Geologist will conduct geological fieldwork, including drill hole logging, geological mapping, assisting management of drilling operations, interpreting geological and geophysical data and periodic reporting. The role requires effective planning and supervision to ensure Project timelines and objectives are met.

The project boasts a significant Mineral Resource, estimated at over 500 million tonnes containing 3.7 million ounces of gold and 1.2 million tonnes of copper.
Requirements for the RoleA passion for discoveryWilling to work in a small, agile teamQualification of Bachelor of Science, majoring in Geology. Honours and post graduate qualifications will be well consideredSkilled in Field Work including supervising exploration programs (particularly RC/ Diamond core drilling operations)Strong skills in Geological Logging and Interpretation of geological, geophysical and geochemical informationStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detailExcellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with the team and communicate with stakeholdersExperience with large-scale porphyry copper and epithermal gold projects is highly desirableValid driver’s license and a safe driving recordApproval to work in Australia
