Due to continued growth, we're looking for a motivated WHS Consultant to join our team.
Whether you're looking to step into consulting or continue building your WHS career, this is an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gain exposure to a diverse range of industries, and make a genuine impact with our clients.
About the Role
As a WHS Consultant, you'll work directly with a portfolio of clients, providing practical advice and support across all aspects of workplace health and safety.
You'll enjoy a varied role where no two days are the same, including:
Conducting WHS audits and gap analyses
Developing and reviewing WHS management systems, policies and procedures
Completing workplace inspections and risk assessments
Delivering WHS training, workshops and toolbox talks
Assisting clients with legislative compliance and Codes of Practice
Incident investigations and corrective action management
Coaching and supporting business leaders on WHS obligations
Preparing professional reports and recommendations
Supporting clients with ongoing continuous improvement initiatives
You'll be supported by an experienced leadership team while enjoying the autonomy to manage your own client portfolio.
Essential Requirements
To be successful, you will have:
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or higher)
Minimum 12 months' experience in a WHS-related role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills
Current Australian Driver Licence
Desirable (Highly Regarded)
The following experience will be viewed favourably:
Return to Work Coordinator experience or training
Workers' compensation or injury management experience
Experience conducting WHS audits
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in WHS or related discipline
