As the Business Direct Manager, you will manage a dynamic national portfolio of business customers. Operating in a virtual capacity, you will be a key driver in our strategy to make life easy with digital and deepen customer relationships.

How You'll Make a Difference:

• Champion Customer Prosperity: Build and nurture strong virtual relationships, becoming a trusted advisor who understands and anticipates the needs of our small business customers.
• Drive Commercial Success: Proactively grow our customer base and portfolio, contributing directly to our financial targets and strategic growth objectives. You’ll act commercially, creating win-win solutions for both the customer and the Bank.
• Embrace a Digital-First Mindset: Utilise our digital tools to deliver exceptional, responsive, and streamlined service, ensuring we are the easiest bank to do business with.
• Challenge the Status Quo: Bring your ideas and energy to actively challenge the status quo. You will be empowered to find better ways of working and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate for Impact: Work closely with a network of internal partners, from Consumer Lenders to Commercial Credit Risk, to deliver holistic and innovative solutions for our customers.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

We are looking for a motivated individual who is aligned with our values and driven to succeed. You will ideally have:

• Proven experience in relationship management with a track record of growing a customer portfolio.
• A strong foundation in commercial and consumer lending practices, with skills in financial analysis and interpreting financial statements.
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer outcomes and a drive to contribute to a high-performing team.
• The ability to find the right way by making balanced decisions that consider both risk and reward.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, or Finance are highly regarded.
