About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker who brings energy, reliability, and genuine passion to every shift. This role involves supporting participants of all ages, including:

• Complex personal care for clients with spinal cord injuries, including bowel and bladder management, skin integrity checks, transfers, and other high-intensity support needs

• Community and in-home support for participants across the lifespan, from children through to older adults, with a range of disabilities

Shifts are available across early morning and afternoon rosters. Consistency and punctuality are non-negotiable for this role.

• Demonstrated experience in complex care, particularly with spinal cord injury clients

• Experience supporting people with disabilities across all age groups, including children

• A personality that lights up a room. You are outgoing, confident, and not afraid to get involved

• The ability to take initiative and think on your feet without waiting to be told what to do

• Rock-solid reliability. You show up, on time, every time

• Energy and enthusiasm that participants and families genuinely look forward to

• A strong understanding of person-centred, strengths-based support

Essential Requirements

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent

• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Working With Children Check

• Current First Aid and CPR certificates

• Valid Australian driver's licence and reliable vehicle

• Experience in high-intensity personal care (Module 1)

• Availability for early morning and afternoon shifts, including weekends on a rotating basis

Desirable

• Manual handling and complex care training (e.g. catheter care, PEG feeding, bowel management)

• Experience working within the NDIS framework
