Delivery Driver / General Hand for Electrical Switchboard Manufacturer

About the role

A varied role combining local deliveries with general warehouse duties. You will need be competent to operate 4.5t Manual Transmission Tray back Truck and occasional Tray back Utility. The successful applicant will be safety-conscious, physically fit, organised, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.

Key responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, and unload goods safely

• Complete local deliveries accurately and on schedule

• Assist with picking, packing, receiving, and organising stock

• Perform general labouring duties as required

• Inspect the delivery vehicle and report faults or damage promptly

• Follow road rules, workplace procedures, and health and safety requirements

• Provide professional and friendly service to customers

• Assist other team members as required

About you

• A current and valid driver's licence with a safe driving record

• Ability to safely lift and shift items to enable safe unloading without damage to products

• Good communication, time-management, and customer-service skills

• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions

• Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions

• Previous delivery, warehouse, labouring, or general-hand experience is preferred but not essential

• A forklift licence and experience operating would be beneficial

• Willing to turn up daily with a can do attitude towards work.
