Project Manager – Store Development

Synergie Australia is seeking an Experienced Project Manager (Store Development) for a contract opportunity based in Hawthorn, VIC. 

Join a rapidly growing Australian jewellery brand undergoing significant national expansion. Working within the Store Development team, you will play a key role in delivering new store openings, coordinating shopfitters and contractors, and partnering with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

The important parts:

• Pay: $50-60 per hour + Super
• Term: Immediate start until November 2026
• Location: Hawthorn, VIC
• Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30-5:00 

What you will be required to do:

You will support the delivery of new retail store openings, working closely with internal stakeholders, shopfitters, contractors and suppliers to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Manage retail store development and rollout projects
• Coordinate shopfitters, contractors and external suppliers
• Oversee store opening timelines and project schedules
• Conduct regular site visits and maintain a strong onsite presence
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
• Liaise with internal stakeholders across the business
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, contractors and suppliers
• Identify and manage project risks and project milestones
• Support multiple store openings and refurbishment projects

To be successful in the role you will:

• Have previous experience managing retail store rollouts or store development projects
• Demonstrate experience within retail, hospitality, fit-out or construction environments
• Possess strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across internal teams, contractors, suppliers and external stakeholders
• Have experience working with contractors, builders and shopfitters
• Be highly organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Take a hands-on approach and enjoy working onsite
• Thrive in a fast-paced and growing business environment

Highly regarded:

• Experience opening new retail stores
• Exposure to national store rollout programs
• Background working with recognised retail or hospitality brands
• Trade, construction or fit-out project management experience
