With our work continually expanding across the Sydney metro area and Illawarra, we’re on the lookout for a skilled Team Leader to head up a brand-new crew and help lead the way forward. 

About the role
The role will be varied, including working on-site to assist the crew, quoting and assessments, job co-ordination and team leadership.
Our crews are made up of qualified Arborist's, Climbers and non-climbers, Grounds crew and Truckdrivers. 
If you are highly motivated, reliable and a true master of your craft you will fit right in.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team leadership - motivate, support, train and mentor the crew
• Co-ordinate daily operations of each days work orders
• Monitor team productivity to ensure jobs run to schedule
• Operate and maintain plant and machinery and adhere to company requirements
• Perform Arborist tasks such as pruning and removing trees to Australia standards
• Manage and implement WH&S systems on site and implement safe work practices
• Client liaison - build and maintain positive client relationships
• Quoting - Provide quotes to clients utilising company frameworks
• Attend and engage in fortnightly staff and WH&S meetings
• Ensure self and team perform consistent work in a safe manner
• Be exceptionally punctual and reliable in your attendance

Skills & experience

• A grade climbing and rigging skills
• On-site job planning and execution skills
• Solid safety record with minimal incidents and a strong commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards  
• Customer service and Client liaison skills
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Highly organised with solid time management skills
• Confident to make decisions 
• Minimum 3 years industry experience
• White Card
• Drivers Licence
• Cert III in Arboriculture (or international equivalent)
• MR or HR Licence 
• First aid certificate 
• EWP ticket 
• Knowledge of WH&S environmental and council regulations 
• RIW certificate (Preferable but not necessary)
• ESi II certificate (Preferable but not necessary)
