Experienced Civil Pipe Layer – Water, Sewer & RCP

Chrisos Civil Constructions is a family-owned and operated civil construction company with over 20 years of experience delivering roadworks, utility and drainage projects throughout Sydney.

Due to upcoming projects, we are seeking an experienced Civil Pipe Layer to join our team.

The successful applicant must have proven, hands-on experience laying:

• Water mains

• Sewer lines

• Reinforced concrete pipes (RCP)

• Stormwater drainage

The Role

You will work as part of an experienced civil construction crew on projects throughout Sydney, including Sydney Water minor and major works, roadworks, utility and drainage projects.

Your duties will include:

• Installing water, sewer and stormwater pipelines

• Laying pipes accurately to the required line, level and grade

• Preparing bedding and assisting with backfilling and compaction

• Installing pits, fittings and associated infrastructure

• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans

• Working safely around excavations, machinery and existing services

• Following site-specific SWMS and safety requirements

• Working effectively with supervisors, plant operators and other crew members

To be successful, you must have:

• Proven experience working as a Civil Pipe Layer

• Experience laying water mains, sewer lines and RCP

• Construction White Card

• Current driver licence and reliable transport

• Relevant licences and Verification of Competency (VOC), where applicable

• A strong understanding of civil construction and workplace safety

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude

Experience in roadworks and on Sydney Water projects will be highly regarded.

The remuneration package will be negotiated based on your experience, qualifications and demonstrated capabilities.
