DELIVERY DRIVER / STOREPERSON

Sherriff Electrical is an Australian Family-owned Electrical Wholesaler.  Regarded as one of the leading independents, our people strive to provide the highest level of customer service possible.  We are currently on the hunt for a full time Delivery Driver/Storeperson for our branch in Klemzig.

The ideal applicant for this role would be someone with a great work ethic, who can thrive and learn within an experienced team, while also sharing their own education and experience.  

Duties of this role include but are not limited to: -

·         Daily multi-drop deliveries in the Sherriff work truck to contractor sheds, homes, or worksites.

·         Assist the Head Storeperson with store duties and the logistical operation of the branch.

·         Manage the loading & unloading of all incoming and outgoing goods of store.

·         Picking & Packing of store orders.

·         Quality assurance and accuracy of receipting and dispatching goods.

·         Regular cyclical stock takes.

·         Working with the sales team to achieve daily branch requirements.

To be successful for the role you must have:

·         Current Forklift licence is essential.

·         Current minimum LR licence for the work truck is advantageous.

·         Physical fitness is required as there is heavy lifting involved with truck loading and unloading.

·         Previous experience in a delivery driver role.

·         Able to show initiative and work unsupervised.

·         Able to use logic and think laterally to problem solve.

·         Basic computer literacy required.

·         High attention to detail.

·         Excellent Customer Service.
