Pilbara Aboriginal Health Alliance (PAHA)
South Hedland, WA
The Pilbara Aboriginal Health Alliance (PAHA) is seeking an experienced and passionate Culture Care Connect Network Coordinator to lead the coordination and implementation of the Culture Care Connect Program across the Pilbara.
Reporting to the Executive Manager Community Services, this leadership role will work alongside Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHSs), Aboriginal communities, Elders, government agencies and key stakeholders to strengthen culturally safe, community-led approaches to suicide prevention, Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB), and Closing the Gap priorities.
As the Culture Care Connect Network Coordinator, you will:
Lead the implementation of the Culture Care Connect Program across the Pilbara.
Coordinate and strengthen the Community-Controlled Suicide Prevention Network (CCSPN).
Build and maintain strong partnerships with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, Aboriginal communities, Elders and key stakeholders.
Promote culturally safe approaches to Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) and suicide prevention.
Support policy development, advocacy and strategic planning.
Monitor program performance, governance, reporting and funding compliance.
Represent PAHA in regional forums and contribute to collaborative initiatives that improve health outcomes across the Pilbara.
You are an experienced leader who enjoys bringing people together to achieve meaningful outcomes for Aboriginal communities.
You will have:
Demonstrated experience in Aboriginal health, mental health, Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) or suicide prevention.
Strong leadership, project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience working collaboratively with Aboriginal communities and Aboriginal Community Controlled organisations.
Excellent communication, facilitation and relationship-building skills.
Experience in strategic planning, partnership development and program delivery.
Relevant tertiary qualifications (or equivalent experience).
Current WA Driver's Licence and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.
