Hourly Rate: $58.37 - $60.95 per hour

The Bridge Youth & Family Services (TBYFS) is seeking an experienced, passionate and values‑driven Team Leader – Youth Homelessness & Family Support to lead our team and strengthen outcomes for young people experiencing vulnerability, disengagement and risk of homelessness.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Senior Manager – Youth & Family Support, this leadership role is responsible for the delivery, performance and quality of a range of youth programs across Shepparton, Seymour and Wallan. You will provide supervision, guidance and operational oversight to staff, ensuring program goals are met and young people have every opportunity to thrive.
You will manage referrals and case allocations, maintain strong partnerships, contribute to continuous quality improvement, and may hold a reduced caseload as required.
Key Responsibilities include:
Lead service delivery across Youth & Family Support programs
Provide supervision and support to staff, including workplan and professional development guidance
Manage referrals and case allocations across multiple sites
Build and maintain partnerships with external organisations and funding bodies
Deliver reporting to the Senior Manager and funding bodies
Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities
Contribute to organisational projects as part of the Leadership Team
About You:
You are a collaborative, emotionally intelligent leader with a strong commitment to improving life outcomes for young people. You bring experience supporting young people facing homelessness, disengagement, family breakdown, and complex needs, and you have a genuine passion for youth work.
You’ll also Have:
Tertiary qualifications in Youth Work, Social Work or a related discipline
High‑level communication skills – verbal, written and negotiation
Leadership experience including staff supervision, program oversight or partnership management
Understanding of youth vulnerability, including social, developmental and systemic factors
Ability to manage program targets, brokerage and reporting
To be successful in this role, you must have a current driver licence and employee Working with Children Check.
