SMP Supervisor

The Role & Project

Interquip is currently seeking experienced SMP Supervisors for our newly commenced mining construction Projects in regional, WA. FIFO from Perth WA working a 2:1 Roster. Various Projects and various start dates from 8th September onwards.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee SMP construction activities in accordance with the relevant standards, drawings, and work packs.

• Supervise and lead site crews to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality execution

• Working in close association with the site management team. Including; Construction Manager, Superintendent, Project engineers, HSE advisors and other supervisors to ensure safe and timely project delivery.

• Conduct site inspections and employee engagement inline with legislation and company policies.

• Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly to minimize delays and maintain productivity

• Adherence to mine site safety regulations and project management plans.  

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in onsite SMP Supervisor roles within major mining construction projects

• Trade Qualification or higher

• Australian “C” class drivers licence

• Knowledge of the Mines and Safety Legislation

• S26 Certification (Statement of Attainment and MUST HAVE Exam Completed)

• OHS Construction White Card

• Current First Aid Certificate

• Working at Heights within 2 years of completion date

• Confined Space within 2 years of completion date

• Clean National Police Clearance Certificate required
