SixDe Pty Ltd, located at O’Connor, Western Australia is a precision engineering company delivering complex, high-quality solutions across energy, resources, robotics, infrastructure, medical and defence industries. We specialise in one-off prototypes and small batch production — and we’re looking for a motivated, full-time 3rd or 4th year CNC Machining apprentice ready to take the next step in their career.

What you will learn:

• You will be trusted to set up jobs including operating and programming CNC machines (lathe & milling), interpret drawings, and contribute to problem-solving alongside experience machinists.
• Precision measurement and quality assurance
• Workshop Safety and maintenance procedures
• Working with a variety of complex materials and tight-tolerance work.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid Australian Working Rights 
• You must be a team player, with a strong commitment to getting the job done.

What we are looking for:

• We are particularly interested in 3rd or 4th year apprentices who have hands on CNC experience and are looking to complete their apprenticeship in a high-end, precision-focused workshop.
• A keen interest in engineering and machining
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Good mathematical and mechanical aptitude
• Team player with a strong work ethic

Requirements:

• Year 11 or 12 completion (preferred)
• Australian work rights
