The opportunity

Exciting opportunity to kickstart your career as a Locksmith Apprentice with TERRY'S TRADIES PTY LTD. Based in the vibrant Burleigh Heads, Queensland, this full-time apprenticeship will provide you with hands-on training and development to become a skilled and qualified Locksmith.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting experienced Locksmiths in the installation, maintenance and repair of security locks, safes and other security systems

• Learning the techniques and best practices of locksmithing through on-the-job training and mentorship

• Completing apprenticeship training and studies to obtain your Locksmith certification

• Providing exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills to address client needs

• Maintaining a safe and organised work environment

What we're looking for

• Passion for the trades industry and a keen interest in security systems and problem-solving

• Strong practical and mechanical skills

• Excellent customer service orientation and communication abilities

• Willingness to learn and a dedicated, hardworking attitude

• Must be an Australian citizen

• Must have completed a minimum of Year 10 education

• Must hold a valid driver's licence or in the process obtaining
