Despatch Driver

Position Overview

Gliderol Garage Doors, part of the dormakaba group, is one of Australia’s leading manufacturers of sectional and roller doors. We are looking for a reliable Despatch Driver to join our Holden Hill team. This role sits within our operations team and is responsible for delivering products, while also supporting despatch activities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

What you will do

• Deliver products to customers-distributers around Adelaide and surrounding areas.

• Load and unload trucks safely, ensuring products are secured and handled correctly

• Assist with despatch and receipting activities when onsite

• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records

• Communicate with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth deliveries

• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and follow all safety procedures

What we require

• Valid driver’s licence (HR licence preferred depending on vehicle)

• LF Forklift License

• Experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong computer skills including knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office

• Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, bending, packing, and standing for extended periods.

• Flexibility to work overtime and Saturdays when required to meet customer demands

• Excellent communication, organisation and customer service skills

What we prefer

• Experience using hand and power tools

• Experience in delivery driving or despatch/warehouse environments

• Previous experience in a similar role

• A team player who enjoys working in a close, tight-knit team.
