Registered/ Enrolled Nurse

Edgewater Medical Centre is seeking  an enthusiastic, bright and dynamic person who enjoys working in General Practice and has a strong desire for professional growth and can work closely with our team of GPs.  

The nursing role will incorporate both treatment room services and Chronic Disease Management in an ongoing part time/casual basis

Essential criteria:

• Current AHPRA Registration

• Flexible working hours

• Experience and thorough knowledge of Care Plans and Health Assessments

• Previous experience in General Practice

• High competence in working with computers and IT systems and Medical software Best Practice.

• Excellent communication skills

Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Wound care

• Infection control

• Chronic Disease Management

• care plans/health assessments.

• Stock maintenance and ordering

• Managent of recall and reminder systems

• Vaccination/Kids immunization /Covid 19 vaccine administration. 

• Travel Vaccination
