We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and monitoring of quality control processes- assuring suppliers and their products meet the standards for inclusion in our supply chain.

As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will:

• Support supplier assessment activities to ensure compliance with KDAu Supplier Quality Assurance Requirements (SQAR) Framework.
• Conduct onsite verification of product conformity with requirements.
• Assist KDAu production team and suppliers through Production Readiness Reviews (PRRs), First Article Inspections (FAI) and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
• Conduct supplier and production quality control audits.
• Develop and maintain production and supplier database.
• Assist with maintain Non Conformance Reports (NCR) and Quarantine process, signing off of Certificates of Conformance (COC's), and assisting with escalation of quality issues to KDA when required.

What You'll Bring:

• Qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Fabrication or a related discipline.
• Experience with manufacturing and production processes and engineering principles.
• Experience working with Suppliers on technical quality assurance.
• ISO 9001:2015 Quality management systems experience
• Experience in workmanship Quality standards and production processes applicable to Defence article manufacture.
• Previous experience in a similar role in the Defence Industry (Desirable).

Mandatory Requirements:

• Must be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulations (ITAR).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance.
