The Position

Our innovative service model focuses on delivering the best clinical outcomes for clients. As a Physiotherapy Assistant with Empower, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of Musculoskeletal Neurological and Cardiorespiratory patients.

Responsibilities

Working under the clinical guidance of an Allied Healthcare Professional, you will be responsible for the delivery of Empower Healthcare's comprehensive services across home care clients in Sydney's St George and Sutherland Shire. You will:

Deliver tailored physiotherapy treatment plans developed by our Allied Healthcare Professionals for clients in their own home through home care packages/NDISWork holistically with other allied health professionals to implement a multidisciplinary care planEducate clients and their families to optimise their ability to live healthy lives within the communityLiaise with clinical supervisor to ensure effective communicationWork autonomously to prioritise and complete tasks, maintain records and provide patient reports

You will be provided with support from our home care team who will schedule these appointments and plan an efficient route.

Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance OR Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent) with AHPRA registrationPolice Check Clearance Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong time-management skills and attention to detail
