Support Worker Qualified

Burnie Brae is expanding! For over 40 years, Burnie Brae has proudly supported the Brisbane North and Moreton Bay communities. As we expand into new areas, we’re looking for Qualified, compassionate, and reliable Support Workers to join our growing team. What we offer:

• Permanent part-time and casual roles
• No evenings or overnight shifts
• Based in Chermside, supporting clients in the surrounding areas

Your role:

As a Qualified Support Worker, you’ll help older adults stay independent and safe by:

• Assisting with personal care like showering, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with medications
• Providing social support and transport to appointments or outings
• Helping with light domestic tasks such as housekeeping and meal prep
• Monitoring wellbeing and documenting client progress using our mobile app

What you’ll need:

• Certificate III in Individual Support / Aged Care or equivalent
• National Police Check (we can help you obtain this)
• First Aid & CPR certificates
• Current driver’s licence and your own reliable, insured vehicle (travel reimbursed)
• Assist Clients with Medication certification is highly regarded and an advantage
• Experience in aged care is helpful but not required – we provide full training and support!
