Family Law Solicitor

Rhonda Sheehy & Associates is a long-standing respected Family Law practice located in the heart of Caboolture, specialising in Family Law matters, Wills, Estates, and Conveyancing.

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm for an immediate start.

About the role:

A motivated and experienced Solicitor who is passionate about Family Law and who is confident in his/her abilities to act on behalf of clients and who has strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent attention to detail should apply. Experience representing clients at the Federal Circuit and Family Court, preparing matters for Trial and instructing Counsel will be highly regarded. Legal Aid and private clients form the basis of the practice.

Candidates must be admitted as a solicitor in Australia, not just overseas, to be eligible for this position. You will also be required to be registered with the Supreme Court. An Australian legal qualification is also required for this role.

Candidates must have the ability to work independently on matters as well as be able to liaise with the Principal Solicitor if needed.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Family Law.

Experienced lawyers in other areas willing to cross train in Family Law are welcome to apply.

This firm is also an Independent Children's Lawyer and experience with this would be highly regarded but not essential.
