About the Role

The Love Heart Early Education Centre, St Ives Chase / Turramurra are currently have great opportunities for a dedicated, experienced and passionate Educator/s to join in the St Ives and Turramurra Area. 

Our philosophy guides our interactions and relationships with children. We aim to ensure all educators develop positive relationships with children based on respect and fostering children's self-esteem and development.

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated and experienced Bachelor, Diploma or Certificate III Qualified Childcare Educator to join our team as a Room Leader and/or assistant at our Centre in Turramurra. EL position is also open to suitable candidates. 

Responsibilities

• Communicate positively and openly with children on an ongoing basis

• Create stimulating, positive and appropriate environment to foster and support development

• Conduct observation and evaluation of children's development

• Provide physical care, assisting children in daily routines and meal times

• Respond to the emotional needs of the children

• Maintain up to date records for each child within the group

Skills and Experience

• Diploma or Certificate III or Bachelor trained in Early Childhood Education with prior experience in a similar role

• Working With Children Check (WWCC) or Teaching Accreditation

• Current First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

• Fully Covid Vaccinated and willing to take booster if needed

• Excellent knowledge and experience of EYLF and NQF

• Competent in all areas of Child Care compliance, legislation, and WH&S

• High level of professionalism and communication with families and co-workers

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care.
