About the role

GRG is seeking a new team member. The Remuneration Data Analyst is responsible for managing and interpreting complex datasets to support strategic decision-making in a remuneration context. This role plays a crucial part in optimising operations and delivering actionable insights across the business. The candidate will contribute to ongoing data infrastructure projects and ensure the quality, consistency, and availability of data across systems. The role will also support the consulting team through a range of remuneration related tasks including remuneration benchmarking, data capture and processing, etc.

Duties & Responsibilities

Data Infrastructure

●      Develop and optimise SQL queries for data extraction and analysis

●      Use Python for data manipulation, cleansing, and transformation

●      Lead projects and maintain datasets within cloud environments

●      Maintain and update repositories using GitHub

Remuneration Analyst

●      Analyse remuneration and benefits data for Senior Executive positions.

●      Provide ongoing support in relation to the collection, interpretation and accuracy of remuneration and benefits data

●      Create technical documentation for processes and datasets

●      Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to ensure on time delivery of projects

Requirements

●      Proficiency in SQL

●      Python – particularly for data wrangling and transformation

●      Advanced excel

●      Experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration

●      Strong understanding of data integrity, security, and best practices

●      Experience in developing web-based applications using python frameworks (Flask and Fast API)

●      Experience with dashboard/report software (Power BI and/or Tableau)

●      Familiarity with the Azure ecosystem

●      Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field

Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
