ABOUT THE ROLE
Backam Group is currently seeking experienced Tank Installers for ongoing work across Sydney, South West Sydney, and Western Sydney.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturing team working on tank installation projects throughout the Sydney metropolitan area. The role offers ongoing work with strong potential to transition into a permanent position after 3-6 months for the right candidate.

💰 Pay Rate: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour casual (pending experience)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Installing industrial and above-ground tanks
• Assisting with installation and tank placement works
• Entering tanks during installation and commissioning activities
• Working in confined spaces when required
• Assisting with pipework and associated civil infrastructure
• General labouring and site support duties
• Maintaining safe work practices and complying with site requirements

ABOUT YOU
You are an experienced civil/construction worker who is safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working in physically demanding environments.
To be successful, you will have:
✅ Previous civil/construction experience
✅ Previous tank installation or tank maintenance experience (highly regarded)
✅ Comfortable working inside tanks during installation works
✅ White Card (Construction Induction)
✅ Confined Space Ticket - Essential - or willing to obtain
✅ Working at Heights Ticket - Essential - or willing to obtain
✅ Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport - Essential
✅ Willingness to obtain a Police Clearance
✅ Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
